With the victory over Hartwick, the No. 1-ranked Zips tied Evansville's mark for the fourth-longest single-season win streak in NCAA history. The Zips have won three consecutive MAC crowns and will find out their draw in the NCAA Division I Tournament Monday evening.
"We prepare through the regular season and the tournament," said Porter. "We prepare for this moment. We set up our schedule; we set up our regular season with the perspective that those games will put us in a position where we're playing our best soccer at the most important time, which is the NCAA Tournament.
It'll be real interesting to see how far they can go in the tournament.
